With crusty edges and a fudgy center these brownies are the most delicious dessert. When they stick to you it’s for a lifetime! You can use the milk to wash it off or just enjoy the tradition.
To be honest, I just love the thought to bake cakes quickly and to use easy recipes nowadays. I am always short in time, every day in a hurry, so I choose to bake the best cakes in a short time. But, it’s not that easy to find the right recipe to be the yummiest one and to take place on my blog. This one has earned to be posted for it’s stickiness, name and tradition.
Homemade chocolate browniesPRINT RECIPE
- 2 ounces of chopped chocolate
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Put the sugar and water in a saucepan and cook over the low heat for 3 minutes. Add the chopped chocolate to melt in. Slowly as it’s cooling combine with the other ingredients (salt, flour, unsweetened cocoa, melted chocolate chips, vegetable oil, and vanilla). At the end stir in the baking powder and eggs one by one to make the batter nice and smooth. Prepare the baking pan, the smaller one 😉 like 9×9, cover it with baking paper and spread the batter in. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Brownies should be done in 35 minutes or so.
Use the toothpick trick to check if the cake is baked. Some moist crumbs should be on the toothpick as you take it out... after all we are talking about the sticky brownie. Don't forget that eggs and baking powder must be added last, to be certain that the batter is completely cooled.
