This is a rich chocolate dessert with a specific taste of peanut butter which can be eaten just in a bite. Your cravings for chocolate can be satisfied as you pass by the bowl full of this incredible smooth treat.
These attractive balls woke my attention years ago, but the recipe was misplaced among the meatballs and salty snacks. As I was preparing to make the Teriyaki Meatballs I came across this delicious sweet recipe. I have noticed that the ingredients are similar to the No Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars I made a while ago. If you’d say that I prefer chocolate-peanut butter combination I would be guilty as charged :-). Anyone who tried these balls was impressed so I don’t think I am the only one crazy about it. I will try to find some more recipes to indulge this specific taste cravings.
Peanut Butter Graham BallsPRINT RECIPE
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cup crushed graham crackers
- 2 Tbsp melted butter
- For the chocolate cover:
- 8 ounces of chocolate
- 3 Tbsp butter
Melt the butter in the microwave and as it’s still warm add the other ingredients so they could easily combine. You don’t have to use all of the prepared crackers. Leave the dough to cool and form one inch balls. Place them on the baking paper and chill in the freezer for about 20 minutes. Melt the chocolate along with prepared butter and stir until smooth. The chocolate has to be a bit warm as you dip the balls in. It will cover the balls in the thick layer because the balls are chilled. Dip the balls with a toothpick and place them back on the paper to cool.
It's better if you put butter in the chocolate cover... You'll get a softer cover which won't crush as you bite.
