So soft and juicy chicken breast with a delicious crust on the top garnished with steamed broccoli and fresh parsley made my dinner extraordinary.
This is an extremely tasty chicken meal. I was really afraid that the meat will be a little dry so no one would eat it. But I was wrong. Topping on chicken breast helped the juices not to evaporate so it came out moist and soft just the way it should be. Garnish of broccoli made the dish complete and tempting but my kids set them a side in order to focus on the main thing – the meat, off course. 🙂
Baked Parmesan Chicken
Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 4 skinless boneless chicken breast halves
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 5 tsp seasoned dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- fresh parsley
- steamed broccoli
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and prepare the baking pan by covering it with baking paper. Place the chicken breast halves on the baking paper and season with salt and pepper. Mix the mayonnaise with garlic powder and Parmesan cheese until fully combined. Spread the mixture over the chicken breast halves evenly and put in the oven for 20 minutes. Now comes the step with the seasoned dry bread crumbs. Sprinkle all over the top of every chicken piece. Put it back to the oven and bake for 20 minutes more. This kind of preparation leaves the juiciness and softness in the chicken meat better than every other.
Notes
If the other 20 minutes isn’t enough for the chicken to change color to desirable then leave it in for additional 5 minutes.
