Sweet Peanut Butter Bars

Author: Rosvitha

Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup whole peanuts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, granulated sugar, olive oil, and vanilla extract (if using). Mix until smooth.
Add the salt and baking powder to the mixture, stirring well to incorporate.
Fold in the whole peanuts gently until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
On top of that, sprinkle whole peanuts.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, cut into bars suitable for serving, and enjoy!
